**Pet policy & fees**
As pet owners ourselves, we wanted to ensure we are pet friendly. All we ask is that you keep your pets off the bed and lounges and clean any paw marks and hair on the floors. Pet fees = $50 per pet, per stay.
**The space**
Tallowwood House was designed and hand built by our neighbour — a Japanese furniture maker — in 1979. It is a unique, rustic and intimate cabin that includes:
· A private sauna
· A loft bedroom with a king size bed
· A lounge with two daybeds that can accommodate additional guests upon request
· A small, but spacious kitchen with electric cooktops, a fridge, toaster, kettle, moka coffee pot and all the cookware and utensils you could ever need
· An indoor fireplace (Note: firewood is not provided between October to March)
· 2 showers (one indoor and one outdoor)
· An outdoor bath (with hot and cold water taps)
· A large outdoor deck
· Outdoor dining table and seats
· A fire pit
**Other things to note**
1. The host, Josh, lives in the cabin next door. Your cabin is completely private. The only thing you share is a driveway.
2. From October 1st to March 1st, we do not provide firewood as during these months the risk of bushfires in our area is higher than usual. If you do wish to make an indoor or outdoor fire, you are to bring your own firewood and are responsible for putting all fires out after use.
3. To access the house from the driveway/car park, you will need to walk up a pathway that has steps. This pathway is a little steep. Please take this into consideration when booking.
